We are driven by a simple mission for our school district: Provide the best education at the lowest possible cost. It's not about the best education at unlimited costs or about just reducing costs at the expense of education. We stive tor the optimum balance to deliver the best return for all BP stakeholders.
Our approach, and the results we've delivered in our first term have focused on the following six operational areas of our school district.
Our strategic plan helps us prioritize our resources to focus on improving what matters most to all of us.
Effective leadership is critical to creating a high performing and winning culture of education. It’s what separates good schools from great schools by providing vision and inspiration for both instruction and learning.
Academics will be enhanced through more equal class sizes, consistent curriculum across class rooms and all-day kindergarten. Our finances will benefit from operating fewer buildings and by utilizing our people resources effectively.
Our curriculum goals are designed to provide students with a comprehensive and rigorous education that prepares them for success in the 21st century.
When a child feels safe physically and emotionally there is less anxiety and more focus on academic learning.
The approach we’ve taken to control staffing expenses through attrition is also important because it’s a gradual change that will avoid disruptions in how we deliver instruction through all grade levels.
